Guramrit Malhotra

I went to UCI for film. Not because I had some master plan to become a wedding photographer, but because I genuinely loved storytelling, light, and making things look beautiful on screen. That ended up being the best thing that could have happened for the couples I work with now. My top 5 movies of all time are Dune: Part Two, Avatar, Iron Man, Pretty Woman, and The Dark Knight. So yeah, I take the cinematic thing pretty seriously.

Outside of weddings, I shoot portraits year-round and take on commercial projects too. I just love being behind the camera.

When I'm not shooting, you'll probably find me rewatching The Office for the hundredth time (greatest show ever made, not up for debate), listening to Kiss Me by Sixpence, From the Start by Laufey, or anything by Fred Again on repeat. My food rankings go Indian first (sorry for the bias), then Japanese, Italian, and Mexican. Coffee order is a Honey Vanilla Latte, an Orange Creamsicle Latte, or a Chocolate Ganache depending on the mood. And lately I've been spending all my free time vibe coding.
